Prayer.

Most benignant Jesus! 
mellifluent bridegroom of all loving souls, 
accept this litany offered to the honor and glory of Thy sweet Name 
and for the sake of that love 
with which for the consolation of all men 
Thou hast assumed this holy Name, 
grant that through the might of this exalted Name 
I may be preserved from all temptations in life and death.
